We specialise in residential block management and residential property management focusing our attentions on Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and North Yorkshire.
We were established in 2006 when one of the directors was living in a managed apartment. Fed up with the poor service and spiralling costs Urban Living was born to do a better job.
Urban Living is a husband and wife team having several sites around Nottingham, Leeds and Manchester and we are now in a fortunate position to be able to offer our services to new clients not only in residential blocks but also residential property.
Our key focus is keeping costs low and services high, we charge a set rate per property (dependant on the number of properties and services on the site) and use the same local contractors on all of our sites which keep the cost low as well as ensuring the work goes back in to the local community.
We undertake all duties which the resident management company (“RMC”) are responsible for under the terms of the head lease as well as a few little extras to ensure the smooth running of the site.
We wants residents of the RMC to feel in control of their surroundings and importantly in control of the money paid in service charges thus we consider strict financial controls are paramount and we always manage sites with complete transparency.
Each one of Urban Living’s developments has a dedicated secure web portal found on their website in which you will find key information such as annual accounts, a copy of the buildings insurance and the service charge schedule as well as being able to log any queries or to report any problems.
Urban Living charges a set fee for residential block management starting from £115 per apartment per year.
