We have taken over the Right to Manage our Estate. First Port have retained £20000 of our service charges. We calculate at most we owe them £9000 on the little information they have disclosed. They have refused to respond to requests for full disclosure and how they calculate/ justify such a large retention of monies. The ombudsman say they cannot intervene unless First Port respond. As they failed to respond to numerous requests one can only assume they cannot prove the amount retained.
