The British Holiday and Home Parks Association is the organisation of the site owners!
The APPG on park homes is chaired by Christopher Chope MP.

The Leasehold Knowledge Partnership did intervene in December when veteran park homes campaigner Sonia McColl OBE had her park home stolen in what she believes was a motivated theft.
Mrs McColl was invited to address MPs of the All Party Parliamentary Group on leasehold reform of which Leasehold Knowledge Partnership / BetterRetirementHousing are the secretariat.
The issue was reported in many national media.

Sonia McColl, OBE, who heads the Justice for Park Homeowners campaign has had her mobile home stolen. The 40ft long, 10-ton mobile home was stolen from a yard in Cullumpton, in Devon just as Sonia MColl was due to have it delivered today and move in.
Now www.BetterRetirementHousing.com reports a rebellion by park home owners to have control over their APPG.

HOW CAN THIS BE FAIR IS IT JUST TO HELP THE CROOKED PARK OWNERS MAKE MORE MONEY FROM THE ELDERLY WHO ARE ON VERY LIMITED INCOMES.
THERE ARE NO POOR PARK OWNERS IN THE INDUSTRY.
This is just one obstacle to getting justice for park home owners. With enormous protection in place, especially the 2013 Mobile Home Act, it looks like a safe place to buy a home and a lifestyle suitable for older residents, but it is anything but, The dream soon turns into a nightmare. The industry is being taken over by Unscrupulous Park Owners (UPOs), but despite all the protection in LAW, nothing actually works. The main culprits being local Councils, who are the guardians and enforcers of the Law, but they are afraid to act against this group of very rich site owners. My Council are as guilty as any, but when I went to the LGO, they basically said that Councils ‘DON’T have to use the legislation given to them’; what other LAW is optional? Now my Council are blocking all my emails, presumably under their ‘Head in the sand diplomacy Policy’. Don’t buy a Park Home until this is sorted, but who is listening?
