Police have charged two men with the theft of the mobile home of Sonia McColl OBE, a campaigner for park home owners’ rights.
Her mobile home was stolen while in transit in November 2017.
The Leasehold Knowledge Partnership took up the issue, inviting Sonia to address the All-Party Parliamentary Group on leasehold and commonhold reform on December 6 2017.
The theft was then covered by numerous national – and even international – media outlets.
In addition, LKP organised an appeal for Sonia McColl which raised nearly £15,000.
Devon and Cornwall Police have charged jointly: Stewart Gregory, 40, of Normandy, Surrey, and Darren Baseley, of Cranbrook, Exeter.
The first court date is scheduled for July 7 2020 at Exeter Law Courts, Southernhay Gardens, Exeter.
