LKP site is being maintained and having a re-design

January 4, 2014 //  by Sebastian O'Kelly

oldLKPThe LKP website is undergoing a redesign and maintenance work.

The least problematic way of doing this is simply to make changes to the site while keeping it live.

All the LKP archives are still searchable and readers’ comments are functioning. Work on the site should be completed after the weekend.

The website is changing as the software has been updated. The image area of the site will be larger than before, but the change will also – counter-intuitively – make the site more responsive and fluid on portable devices such as phones and tablets, which around a quarter of our readers are using to access the site.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Not as user friendly as I had hoped, would appreciate a comments section to open up new comments?

    Chas,
Not sure what you mean. Comments appear directly under the posts.

I have tried several times to get a forum up and running, but there does not seem the impetus for it: people seem to prefer to make points at the end of posts.

The aim of this new site is to be more accessible and simple.
